Generator Installation done properly
On the Treasure Coast, the question is not whether the power will go out in storm season, but for how long. A properly sized standby generator, fitted with an automatic transfer switch, takes over within seconds and keeps the essentials running until the grid comes back, with no extension leads and no refuelling in the rain.

- Automatic transfer switch installation
- Concrete pad, placement and connections

We diagnose and quote
A licensed electrician checks the work in person, explains what we found in plain language, and quotes the job before any work begins.
We do the work, tidy
We complete the work to code, test everything before we leave, and clean up after ourselves, so your home or business is left the way we found it.
Questions we hear
It depends on what you want running during an outage. Most families start with the fridge, air conditioning, well or water equipment, lights and a few outlets, and we size the generator to that real list rather than selling the biggest unit. On the quote visit we add up your loads and recommend the size that covers them comfortably.
The automatic transfer switch watches the grid supply. When the power fails, the switch starts the generator and moves your home onto generator power within seconds, then moves you back and shuts the generator down when the grid returns. You do not touch anything, which is the real difference from a portable unit.
We place the generator on a level concrete pad outside the home, positioned to suit your lot, your panel location and clearance requirements. Placement, pad, electrical connections and the transfer switch are all part of the installation we quote, so you are not co-ordinating separate trades to finish the job.
Yes, with the right sizing and, on some homes, load management that staggers the biggest appliances so they do not all start at once. Air conditioning is usually the largest load in a Florida home, so we talk it through first on the quote visit and build it into the recommendation honestly.
