Panel Upgrades done properly
Your panel is the centre of everything electrical in the building. Older, smaller panels were never designed for air conditioning, a pool, an EV charger and a generator at once. An upgrade replaces worn breakers, adds real capacity, and is the job that makes most other electrical plans possible.
- Panel capacity assessment and load calculation
- Full panel replacement and breaker renewal
- Added circuits for new appliances and equipment
- Surge protection fitted at the panel
- Labelling every circuit clearly before we leave
- Code corrections found during the upgrade

Tell us about the job
Call us or send the quote form with what is going on. We ask the right questions up front, so the visit starts with a plan, not a guess.
We diagnose and quote
A licensed electrician checks the work in person, explains what we found in plain language, and quotes the job before any work begins.
We do the work, tidy
We complete the work to code, test everything before we leave, and clean up after ourselves, so your home or business is left the way we found it.
Questions we hear
Breakers that trip regularly, a panel that is full with no spare spaces, lights that dim when the air conditioning starts, or a panel you know is decades old are the common signs. Adding a charger, generator or major appliance to an older panel is another. We assess the panel in person and tell you whether an upgrade is genuinely needed.
Most residential panel upgrades are completed within a working day, with the power off for part of it while we swap the panel and move your circuits across. We plan the day with you in advance, protect the fridge and freezer contents conversation included, and test every circuit before we hand the home back.
If the tripping comes from an overloaded or failing panel, yes. If a specific circuit is overloaded or a device is faulty, the upgrade visit includes tracing that too, because a new panel with the same faulty circuit would still trip. We diagnose first, then recommend, so the fix matches the actual cause.
Often, yes, and it is better to know before you buy either. Both add a major load, and the panel has to carry it safely. Our quote visit for a generator or charger always includes a panel check, and if an upgrade is needed we quote it as one combined job rather than two separate surprises.
